Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026. These terms apply to all quotations, surveys and work carried out by Brilliant Loft Solutions.
This is a general-purpose template and has not been reviewed by a solicitor. It should be checked against current UK consumer protection law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) and adapted to the business’s actual practices before publication.
1. About Us
Brilliant Loft Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides loft insulation, boarding and conversion services across London. Brilliant Loft Solutions is part of the Brilliant Group, alongside Brilliant Plumbing and Brilliant Roofing Group. Company registration details, including our VAT number once registered, will be published here.
2. Surveys & Quotations
We provide a free, no-obligation survey before any work begins. Following the survey, we provide a fixed-price quotation for the agreed scope of work. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Prices may change if the scope of work changes after the survey, and any change will be agreed with you in writing before proceeding.
3. Your Right to Cancel
If you enter into a contract with us away from our business premises (including in your home), you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being agreed, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us in writing within this period. If you ask us to begin work within the 14-day cancellation period, you may be liable to pay for work already carried out or materials already ordered.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed in your written quotation. Typically, a deposit may be requested before work begins on larger projects, with the balance due on completion. We do not charge for the initial survey. No call-out charge applies for standard bookings.
5. Carrying Out the Work
We will carry out work with reasonable skill and care, in accordance with current UK building regulations where applicable. Where structural work is required, this will be designed and signed off by a qualified, independent structural engineer before installation. We will take reasonable steps to protect your property during work, including dust sheets and protective coverings, and will leave the work area clean and tidy on completion.
6. Access & Site Conditions
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and loft space for surveys and work to be carried out. If access is not available on a scheduled date, we reserve the right to rearrange the appointment. Unforeseen issues discovered once work has started (such as existing damage, non-standard construction, or contamination) may affect the price or timescale; we will discuss any such issues with you before proceeding further.

We hold public liability insurance covering our work. Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our work is limited to the value of the contract, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
